Duration January to April 2007: 1 evening per week over 12 weeks, Tuesday 6:30pm - 9:30pm. May - June 2007: 2 evenings per week over 6 weeks, Monday & Wednesday 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Exams held during class times.
Course Fee €710 (inclusive of City & Guilds fees). Fees must be paid before programme commencement. The tuition fee for some courses includes both exam & registration fees, however it is advisable to confirm with the Centre. Exam fees are available upon request. Refund of Fees: Fees cannot be refunded once a course has commenced, as it is College policy not to refund fees irrespective of the circumstances.
Entry Requirements
Participants should be familiar with using the keyboard & Windows.

Participants should also be able to use basic file management techniques.
Financial Support Tax Relief: Griffith College Dublin has secured tax relief at the standard rate of tax on some of its programmes. Upon receipt of payment, the College will issue a receipt, which you must submit to the Tax Office with a Claim for Tax Relief in Respect of Tuition Form. Can my Employer Pay Fees. Yes. They must complete a Company Sponsorship Form, which can be obtained from the Centre. On receipt of this form an invoice will be raised & sent to your employer. This must be paid before course commencement.
Comment This course is suitable for those who have little or no knowledge of Computer Aided Design.

The use of computer aided design (CAD) systems in industry has become an essential part of the modern working environment. CAD is used at all stages of the design process, from conceptualisation & production of working drawings to the production of virtual reality images.

City & Guilds AutoCAD courses are widely accepted in industry as the most recognised qualification in the use of CAD.

Certification:

Assessment includes 2 practical examinations & a multiple choice exam.
